when I start I tunes just a list appears and not my normal I tune screen now the phone will not auto back up when pluged in to comp
It's very hard to decipher your question. For one thing, although you posted in the "iTunes for Mac" section, you attached an article above that is Windows-specific. So we don't know even what type of computer you have, much less the iTunes version.
